Soccer League (NPDSL) team 3 - 1 at Toyota Park, Il June 9th. Bavarians will
play their next game at the National Amateur Cup Region II on June 26, 2009 in
Oak Park, IL.

Wisconsin State Championships Group Play waslast
weekend! The quest for titles as Wisconsin State Champions in Appleton at USA
Youth Sports Complex. Match-Point Soccer Scoring System was on every field.
Match Point, a 35-year-old Wisconsin
manufacturer of tennis accessories has introduced the Professional Soccer
Scoring System that make soccer score displays quick and easy.
The
Match Point Professional Model Soccer Scoring System consists of two sets of
numbers - #0 through #9 - in white - with one set printed on a black background
and the other set printed on a red background.
The numbers are 10
high and are printed on 9 x 15 outdoor plastic sheet material. The
numbers are visible at 100 yards and can be read from both sides... made for
U14 and above field sizes.
The backboard frame (18 x 24) is
constructed of white plastic with a handy carrying strap and is collapsible for
portability.
They are easy to carry out to the fields with your corner
flags and easy to setup and use. The score can be updated by the referee,
parent, ball boy or girl. Keeps everyone involved and informed.

FIFA LAW 3 The Number
of Players Substitution Procedure To replace a player by a substitution, the
following conditions must be observed:
- the referee is informed before any proposed
substitution is made
- a substitute only enters the field of play after
the player is being replaced has left and after receiving a signal from the
referee
- a substitute only enters the field of play at the
halfway line and during a stoppage in the match
- a substitution is completed when a substitute
enters the field of play
- from that moment, the substitute becomes a player
and the player he has replaced ceases to be a player
- a player who has been replaced take no further part
in the match (PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT APPLICABLE TO YOUTH OR AMATEUR GAMES IN
WISCONSIN UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED BY THE COMPETITION RULES SUCH AS STATE
CHAMPIONSHIPS YOUTH AND AMATEUR GAMES PERMIT UNLIMITED SUBSTITUTIONS
UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED IN COMPETITION RULES)
- all substitutes are subject to the authority and
jurisdiction of the referee, whether called upon to play or not
All WASA games function under FIFA rules. The
only time this does not apply is during Open Cup and Amateur Cup games. |

Michael Cox, Player
Category
Currently resides in Brookfield, WI with his wife Anni and
children, Rachel, Elizabeth, and Lauren. Michael "Paco" was born in Milwaukee
in 1959 and began his playing career as a youth with the Milwaukee Bavarian SC,
winning a number of championships, cumulating in 1977 with advancing to the
U.S. finals for the U19 McGuire Cup. He played in high school at Marquette High
School, was a three year starter, a three time All-Conference selection, led
the team to three private school state championship finals, including winning
the 1975 final. Michael was selected both Team Captain and team MVP as a
senior.
After playing for one year at Miami University of Ohio, Michael
returned to Milwaukee and played with the Milwaukee Bavarian Major team from
1979 to 1984, being a key factor in their championship successes, including two
trips to the U.S. National Amateur Cup finals in 1981 and 1982. In 1984 he
signed with the Milwaukee Wave Indoor Profession team for their inaugural
season.
In 1986 Michael returned to Wisconsin Major Division soccer
with the Milwaukee Sports Club, which he lead until 2000, including a return to
the U.S. National Amateur Cup finals in 1997. He has continued to play with the
Milwaukee Sport Club Reserve team until 2007. In 2002 was part of a select team
that reached the finals of the U.S. Veterans Cup (Over 40).
In addition
to his playing, Michael has coached youth club soccer for both Mequon United
and Brookfield SC, coached high school at both Nicolet and Dominican High
Schools, and adults with the Milwaukee Sport Club. |
