2005 Indoor Men's League - On the web, the
schedule and
rules for both Majors
and First Division teams. The WASA welcomes a new team, WSC/Verdi United
managed by Tom Langer, to the league. Please note that the WSC/Verdi United
team is a separate team from Verdi/WSC managed by Nick Hernandez. Both teams
appear on the indoor schedule.

A WASA Manager Fee Form has been added to the Registration page to help managers predict team and players costs and collect the right amount. This should help the managers manage their teams better.

Open Cup Update
The Milwaukee Kickers
defeated Milwaukee Serbians 1-0 on Sunday, November 7, 2004, in the US Open Cup
state qualifying game.
In round one of the state qualifying play, the
Milwaukee Serbians defeated the Bavarians, 1-0. Milwaukee Kickers had a
bye.

Open Cup is a single elimination tournament with winners only advancing to game
two.

Updated league standings are attached. Two more

Division games. Standings are still too close to finalize for both Majors and
First Division.

The WASA cannot determine the standings of the league
until all of the games are played. We are extending the season by 10 days (June
23 to July 3rd) to give teams an opportunity to play any remaining games.
We have three teams tied for second place in the First Division
standings, and in both leagues the playoff teams could change when the
rescheduled game scores are added to the standings. All team managers need to
play any remaining games by July 3rd. Please contact both your opponent and the
referees to make sure these games get played.

The WASA Annual General Meeting will be held
on Saturday, August 14th, at 9:00 am at the Croatian Eagles Soccer Park located
at 9100 South 76th Street. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory. Please
arrange for a club or team representative to attend this important
meeting.

Constitution.
We will hold elections for two WASA positions, Vice
President and Treasurer. Members will also elect two new WASA delegates to the
WSA State Board. Nominations for these positions must be received in writing at
the WASA offices by 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 13th, 2004. Nominations will NOT
be accepted from the floor during the AGM.
Tuesday, July 13th, is also
the deadline for teams or clubs to submit, in writing, any Constitutional
Change Proposals. A copy of the current WASA Constitution and By-Laws is
included with this letter for your reference.
