The Mike Kabanica Memorial WSA Club Recognition Award is an award given
to a Wisconsin Soccer Association (WSA) club or family for their years of
service and contribution to the WSA program.
It was named after Mike Kabanica for his 25 years (1972-1996) of leadership. He is also a member of the USSF (only two from Wisconsin, Mike and Gene Edwards) and USASA (only 6 from Wisconsin, Mike, ) Hall Of Fames.

The Dombrowski family comprises Mark and Judy Dombrowski, born in Milwaukee and currently living in Hales Corners, and their children Scott (wife Liana and children Greta, Tola, Lukasz), Chad (wife Janice and son Chase), Tighe (daughter Lennon), Neil, Zeke, Quinn, Cade, and Keally. Their children over the years have played for various clubs that include Parkland Soccer, Westend Kickers, Croatian Eagles, Kickers Nationals, Mequon Soccer, New Berlin Kickers, Bavarians, FMI, Des Moines Menace, the Chicago Fire Reserve, and the Olympic Development Program. During these time periods their children have won many state championship and adult amateur titles. Scott, Chad, Tighe and Zeke attended West Allis Hale High School and were four year varsity players. Quinn was a four year varsity player at Whitnall High School, and Cade currently plays there. Their sons have won numerous All Area and All State awards, as well as First and Second Team awards, and Honorable Mention. Scott, Chad, Tighe, Neil and Zeke all played four years at UW Milwaukee, and have helped their teams win numerous Horizon League titles, and participated in the NCAA Tournament for 5 years. They also won numerous captain awards, First Team Horizon League awards and First Team All Tournament Team awards, and Great Lakes Region and Second Team All American awards. Many of them moved on to play professionally, for the San Jose Earthquakes in the MLS, Sirius in Sweden, and the Milwaukee Rampage, Milwaukee Wave, Minnesota Thunder, Rockford Raptors, Rochester Rhinos, Portland Timbers (then USISL), Carolina Rail Hawks, and the Wilmington Hammerheads. Their combined coaching experience also includes the Parkland Soccer Club (where Mark is currently the President, and Director of Coaching), Westend Kickers, Croatian Eagles, Bavarians, New Berlin Kickers, and West Allis Hale High School Varsity.
