2012 Wisconsin National Open and National Amateur Cup Competitions

| The USASA Amateur Cup season has once again arrived.
Entry forms for the cup games are on the WASA web site
under the "Forms" tab. The Fees have not changed. Fees to the State, Region II and USASA for U-20 and all others teams is $175.00 except for the USASA Men's Amateur Cup. The Men's Amateur Cup fee is $250.00. All Amateur Cup Team Entry Forms along with fees are due to the WASA Offices at 6520 W. Layton Avenue, Suite 201, Greenfield, WI 53220 must be received by or on the DEADLINE which is Thursday, April 12th, 2012. A draw will be held at the WASA office on Monday, April 17th. Note: All cup fees are to be attached to the entry form when submitted. If they are not, the form is not valid. All state champions must be named by Wisconsin by May 27th, 2012. Region II finals will be held in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The games will be played June 15-17, 2012. All rosters from the state champions will be frozen on May 31, 2012, 15 days before the competition. All foreign born players who are not United State citizens MUST have an International Clearance Form approved by the USSF. If you do not have one yet, get it into us fast. If a player came to the USA before age 12, they can get clearance by the WASA register or Cup Commissioner by showing some official document from something in the United States like school records, doctor records for immunizations or church records. This must be presented to the WASA registrar or Cup Commissioner when the final roster is turned into the office before the game is played. Once a State Cup champion is named, that club must immediately file a $500.00 bond check directly with the Region II treasurer: Wayne Wilson Region II Treasurer 5600 Longhorn Circle Lincoln, Nebraska 68516 402-430-4561 (Cell phone) Finally, The Croatian Eagles will represent Wisconsin in the Open Cup games this Spring on April 14 and 15 in the Region II playoffs in Chicago. | Dear Member Club Teams: This is to inform you that the state 2011-2012 Open Cup will be played in the later part of October and early November if needed. The entry fee is $300.00. The entry fee is due on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, with the entry form. Drawing for home field advantage will be at 7:00pm on Thursday, October 6, 2011. Entry forms can be obtained online on the WASA website or attached to this email. Please be aware that all foreign born players who entered the USA after age 12, must fill out the international clearance form and submit it to the USSF for their approval before the player can play in open cup and national cup games. All those who entered the USA before age 12, must provide evidence to the USASA of their coming to the USA before they became 12 years of age by documents obtained in the United States which include report cards from a US school, shot records, or other official government documents.
